Israeli company SodaStream is trying to ride a wave of hype surrounding its banned Scarlett Johansson commercial, but criticism of its West Bank operations is fueling the conversation.

The politics of the situation notwithstanding: I understand SodaStream’s tactic of leveraging a Super Bowl ad-banning (like they did last year). Choosing Scarlett Johansson (at the time an Oxfam Global Ambassador), given SodaStream’s sensitive geo-political situation beggars belief. Sorry PR Agent / Author Mark Borkowski [see Mail Online link below] I respectfully disagree – not all publicity is good publicity, especially when it involves politics.  Did neither party do any due diligence? #NotProfessional #OwnGoal
